Every SBV premier team plays in the Heartland Futsal league in the winter (November to February): it's part of the club's skill development program. League play weekends and details are at heartlandsoccer.net/heartland-futsal.
Registering the team
- Registration opens September 1. The league fee is $800 a team.
- Teams with 12 or more players register 2 teams, unless your coach has talked to your Age Group Director and let them and the Club Administrator know otherwise.
- Conflict dates: you can enter 6. Work them out with your coach before you register.
- Enter your team name the club's way: SPORTING BV Team Name YY/YY.
Players, coach and admin
- Each player completes an online medical waiver and pays a futsal membership fee (families pay it online: it's not in the team budget). The roster can't be made until every player has.
- The coach and the admin each complete a background check with US Soccer (about $24, good for two years). It's different from the KSYSA background check; put it in the team budget.
Once you're in
- Once you're accepted and paid, add your players in the HTG system.
- When the schedule comes out, remind families of games, arrival and jersey colour.
